Letter from Kathy Langston

Dear Father Richard and friends at St. Aidan's:

Thank you ever so much for your generous gift to help the children. I really appreciate it.

We're concerned about the twins that were found in the garbage dump. They are still in intensive care. One of the baby girls needed to have 2 operations. It ended up that they were in worse condition than we thought when they first came in. Vera can hardly wait for them to be back on the ward, to give them the care that they need.

Also a cause for prayer--and please help us with this--is Florina, who had done so well with Vera, even learning to sit up. She was taken home by the hospital but brought back, abandoned again 2 weeks later, and this time extremely sick. Florina's on IV still, and we're praying she recovers like the last time.

Little Mark was also taken home by the hospital but brought back the same day, so he's his happy self, the same with Regina, home for only a day. The hospital is now allowing the social worker to find foster families for these babies.

We're fine, Codi and I doing mountains of homework (quite a system here). That can be very stressful. She is learning better this year, which is great, but she'll still likely need tutoring again. She works well with a tutor - I can only teach her in Romanian up to a point!

Andrea's happy in her last year of kindergarten. Her teacher is sweet and loving so that's wonderful for her.

Thank you so very much again for your generosity, it is a tremendous help!

God bless you all.

Love, Kathy
